Berry Brown Beauty includes all the fruit and vegetable categories we recommend, plus it is a powerhouse of super food goodness. Super foods are foods packed with high density nutrients called phytonutrients. Green tea, bok choy, kale, blueberries and strawberries are all considered super foods.
This green smoothie is a rich brown color, but the flavor is mild making it a good option for transitioning into green smoothies. The flavor is light, but the nutritional content is dense. To make it more filling try adding a tablespoon or two of chia seeds.
Berry Brown Beauty Recipe
12-16 oz. cold green tea
2 cups baby kale
2 cups bok choy, leaves and stems included
½ cup frozen blueberries

Add ingredients to the blender in the order listed. For a high speed blender, all can be added at once. For a regular blender, thoroughly process greens first, then add berries ½ a cup at a time until completely blended.
